Community of Resilience
One of the best parts of working in the healing professions is the honor of being invited to join our clients in their journey and witnessing their strengths, vulnerabilities, agony, growth, and victories. Life’s suffering is hard enough, but to do it alone adds a burden that can feel unbearable and hopeless.
Which gave us an idea…
What if we created a safe space where people could share their experiences in a way that helped us all feel part of a healing community? To feel connected and less alone in our woundedness? To inspire each other? And most importantly, to celebrate the power and goodness of the human spirit? We are all members of this exhausted and amazing and ugly and resilient family known as “the human race.”
We don’t have to do it alone!
We invite you to join our Community of Resilience. You don’t have to be a client to share your darkest and brightest times - or even the mundane ones - through your creative expression whether that be art, music, poetry, stories, videos, blogs, photography, or inspirational quotes.
We have compiled an extensive library of resources from experts and everyday folx who have shared their experiences and wisdom. We have over 1500 books, podcasts, movies, journals, and supplies all gathered in one place to help you learn more about all of the ELEMENTS of wellness - spirit, mind, and body. We welcome your submissions of your original works or suggestions for those who have inspired and helped you along in your journey but have not yet made our list.
Learn, submit, and evolve today!
These resources are meant to supplement your growth as a client, couple, family, parent, professional, and most importantly, as a human being. We have provided an extensive list of resources that many have found helpful. Gratitude Garden
Research has consistently shown that expressing gratitude regularly improves our mental health. If you need some cheering up, submit to and read from our Gratitude Garden. You can submit quotes on gratitude, a photo or drawing of something you are grateful for, or a list of a few things you are most grateful for in your life. Together let’s cultivate and spread gratitude in our lives and the world.
“Gratitude helps you grow and expand; gratitude brings joy and laughter into your life and into the lives of all those around you.” — Eileen Caddy
