Stillness

Sacred snowflakes gently wander down to rest on my shoulders and

relieve the burden.

Great enduring pines hold the heavy white dumplings with

grace and dignity.

The moon sends forth her wisdom to illuminate the soft snow and

leaves me to ponder the depths.

There is stillness all around and the gray sky

enshrouds this holy place.

I take comfort in being small, for all I must do is look skyward and

breathe in the serenity.
